Getting There

The TV Tower is located at Panoramastraße 1A, 10178 Berlin, right next to Alexanderplatz station. This major transport hub is served by S-Bahn lines (S3, S5, S7, S9), U-Bahn lines (U2, U5, U8), regional trains, and numerous bus and tram lines. From the station, the tower is a clearly visible 2-3 minute walk.

At the Observation Deck

The high-speed elevator takes you to the 203-meter-high observation deck in just 40 seconds. From here, you'll have a 360-degree view of the city. Look for famous landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag Building with its glass dome, the Berlin Cathedral on Museum Island, and the sprawling Tiergarten park. Information panels help you identify the sights.

Restaurant & Bar

One level above the observation deck, at 207 meters, is the Sphere restaurant. It rotates once every hour, offering a constantly changing perspective of the city while you dine. The Sphere Bar, located on the observation deck itself, is perfect for enjoying a drink with the view. A restaurant reservation includes Fast View entry to the tower.

Arrival and Security

Upon arrival, if you have a pre-booked Fast View ticket, you can bypass the main ticket queue and go directly to the entrance for your time slot. All visitors must pass through an airport-style security check. Be aware of the strict bag policy: large bags, backpacks (over 45x35x20cm), and suitcases are not allowed inside. There is no luggage storage available on site, so travel light.

Once through security, you will be directed to the elevators. The ride to the top is an experience in itself, covering over 200 meters in under a minute. Prepare to have your ears pop slightly from the rapid change in altitude!

What's the best way to get to the TV Tower?
Public transport is the easiest way. Take any S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram, or bus to Alexanderplatz station, and the tower is a short walk from there.

Can I bring a backpack?
